A letter was sent to me by a certain Filipina friend of mine two years ago. Asking me: How to Get a Visa for a travel to United States of America?

She said: I am a Filipino citizen and want to get tourist visa to United States of America to visit my us military boyfriend? I am Pinay, single a Filipino citizen and going to visit my boyfriend residing at  Las Vegas, USA and planning to have our wedding in New York by summer this year. How to get a tourist visa in America and what are the papers that i need to fill?

My answer to her letter:

You are a Filipino citizen aspiring to visit the  United States of America, and  you are going to marry an American citizen…. all you need to do is to follow this instruction if you want to travel and visit your boyfriend at Las Vegas for your plan of marriage for hot summer:

1. You need to apply for a visa at the Embassy of the  United States of America in Manila : U.S. Embassy, 1201 Roxas Boulevard, Ermita  -Manila, Philippines 1000
2. Apply for non-immigrant visa. You are considered as Fiancé of a U.S. Citizen
